About Me

Hi, I’m Andy, a professional freelance photographer based in Buckinghamshire.

I specialise in Sports Photography. I have experience photographing a wide range of sports and enjoy capturing the skill, competition and emotion from each sport that I have had the opportunity to photograph.

My interest in sports photography started at the London 2012 Olympics. I took my camera along and took my own shots of the cycling at the Velodrome and then later captured weightlifting and sitting volleyball at the Paralympics. Proud of my shots I contacted the London Lions basketball team who allowed me access to capture their home games at Crystal Palace and later the Copper Box Arena in the Olympic Park from what I consider the best seat in the arena.

I am a keen runner, my personal sporting highlights include running the London Marathon seven times (plus 1 virtual London Marathon during the dark times) and completing the 100km Oxfam Trailwalker along with my Dad. My current sporting target is to take part in the next Wolf Run, an incredibly muddy obstacle course run that I can’t wait to take part in!
